You are on the Top of the World and will think you hit the Jackpot when you stay in this luxury log home on the shores of Douglas Lake. Cabin Fever on the Lake offers panoramic views of the main channel and the Smoky Mountains that are just spectacular. The home sits on a wooded lot at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Only a short drive to the area attractions of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you can choose to venture out or just stay and play on the 550 miles of beautiful shoreline on Douglas Lake. The many amenities that this home boasts include 3000 square feet on 3 levels. The main level has a large kitchen with island and all major appliances. There is a large bar for entertaining, a large dining room table for 10. The family can gather in the large living room with 3 patio doors, stone fireplace, 32 foot high ceilings and fixed glass windows to bring the outdoors in! There are 2 bedrooms on the main level that have queen size beds. There is also a full bathroom and separate laundry room on this level as well. Upstairs is a sleeping loft with some of the best views in the house. Move downstairs to find a master suite with a queen bed and TV. Another bedroom is down on this level as well. There is a lake view game room with Pool, Ping Pong or Air Hockey. Also in the game room is a futon that is comfortable for one adult or 2 small children. Continue outside to 2 large decks. The main level deck wraps around to a large outdoor hot tub with lots of privacy. There is a gas grill for cooking your favorite summertime fare. Off of the game-room is a deck as well overlooking the main channel for an exceptional long range view of the lake. Lake access has been made easy by driveway to the private dock. There is no landline phone so please bring your cell phone.
Enjoy your Douglas Lake Vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. WE are just a short drive into Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, the Bristol Raceway, and Cherokee North Carolina
