In summer a pre-breakfast swim or spa in the indoor heated conservatory invigorates the body before a day of adventure exploring Christchurch, Akaroa or a return journey across the Alps by train.
While enjoying your hearty breakfast in our sunny dining room, Stephen will enlighten you on the specialty honeys produced by the family while you savour the flavours. Fay is an avid spinner of differing fibres and is happy to demonstrate her craft- you are very welcome to try your hand!
Menteith named after an ancient Scottish Graham clan, nestles among mature trees with great views of hills and mountains while an easy 15 minute drive takes you to the city or airport.
